Friday 5th February
Well done children - you've completed a fifth week of home learning.
Just a reminder that the Winter Nature Photography Challenge has been extended! Please send in your photos and I will forward them to Mrs Fielding.
Also, this week has been Child Mental Health and Wellbeing Week. If you have completed any activities, please send in some photos so that I can forward them to Miss Spence.

In our previous RE lesson I asked you to write about some good news. This week we are going to think about being 'thankful' for all that is good.
First of all read or listen to the story of the Ten Lepers:
These lepers were thankful to Jesus for healing them?
How do you think they must have felt?
Why did only one man return to say thank you?
Your task today is to write your own 'Thankful Prayer'.
Think about things that you are thankful for.
Here's an example:

In our English lesson today, I would like you to write your own set of instructions about 'How to grow a bean plant in a jar'.
First watch the following clip to find out each stage of planting beans:
Using the video and the work we have completed so far this week, write your own set of instructions.
Points to include:
- a title
- You will need section
- numbers to show the order
- commands that begin with imperative verbs (bossy verbs) e.g. Put, Pour, Sprinkle
- illustrations to go with your instructions
