Extra-curricular enrichment activities (Clubs)

All of our enrichment clubs run from 15:15 to 16:15.

Each club costs £3.25 per session and parents/carers are able to pay on Parent Pay. 

All sports clubs take place outside in our lovely school grounds and as such we recommend the children wear appropriate clothing/footwear for the weather.

Unfortunately, as the enrichment clubs are not childcare, we are unable to accept Childcare Vouchers for these activities.

Enrichment Clubs are paid in advance per half-term e.g. a 6-week half-term costs £19.50. 

AUTUMN CLUBS

16th September to 23rd October.  Please book and pay on Parent Pay for our clubs. 

Please note bookings close on 14th September.

• Cookery Club - Reception to Year 2
• Football Club - Year 1 to Year 6

Wednesday After-School Clubs

• Multi-Sports - Year 1 to Year 6

Thursday After-School Clubs

• Coding Club - Year 3 to Year 6

• Craft Club - Year 3 to Year 6

Durham Music Service Lessons

A number of our children also have violin lessons with Durham Music Service (Ms. Brookes). This is within the school teaching day.  

Trips

2024/2025

Class 4 received a mobile planetarium visit from Space Explorers (Life Centre) - September 2024.

Class 4 visited the Life Centre in October 2024.

Class 3 visited Clip 'n' Climb in October 2024 for their Mountains topic. 

All the children enjoyed having Zoo Lab visit school in October 2024. 

All the children really enjoyed a pantomime on the last day of term.

Class 4 enjoyed an online session with a scientist for their Space Explorers (Life Centre) exploration - January 2025. 

2023/2024

Class 4 visited Robinwood in September 2023

Class 2 visited Raby Castle in October 2023 

Class 4 visited Silksworth Sports Complex to have skiing lessons in June 2024

Year 6 students celebrated their time in primary school at Durham Cathedral in June 2024
