Good morning everyone. It looks like today will be hot and sunny! A great opportunity to get outside if you can and explore nature, or even complete some of your learning activities outside in your gardens. Don't forget your sun-cream and a sun hat!

Here is a link to a '10 minute Shake Up' provided by the NHS. Change4Life and Disney have teamed up to provide 10-minute bursts of fun that aim to get kids moving and count towards their recommended 60 minutes of daily exercise.

VE Day

Good morning! Today is the 75th anniversary of VE Day, the day that World War 2 in Europe ended. On this day, 75 years ago, families celebrated with street parties where they shared food with their neighbours, sang songs and played games. This year marks the 75th anniversary and although we can't celebrate in the same way, we can still have fun in our own homes and gardens!

Did you manage to complete some of the activities yesterday in preparation for today? Don't forget to prepare some food from the Wartime Recipe Book for a lunchtime picnic if you can!

You could follow this VE Day timetable if you wish:

VE_Day_Timetable.docxHave a sing-a-long and dance to some traditional wartime songs! Don't forget to send photos and videos of you singing, dancing and having fun today! They can be emailed to the school office.

Hello children
I hope you're all staying well and keeping busy. I miss you all and look forward to getting back in the classroom together.
While we are all having to stay at home, we can do our best to make use of the time and continue learning, Ralph and I have. He has been practising his letters and he loves pretending to be a bossy teacher, ha ha !!

Thinking of you all , take care !

Friday 1st May

Good morning! I can't quite believe it's May already... Have you noticed the trees growing their new leaves and all of the different tree flowers and blossom? Have you seen or heard the baby lambs in the fields and other baby animals and birds recently? It's a wonderful time of the year to appreciate the nature all around us.

Keep active today with your PE lesson with Joe Wicks at 09:00am!

Try to create some Art today. Take a look around your house for objects with different textures. Find smooth objects, rough objects, bumpy objects and objects with patterns on them.
Then, take a crayon or colouring pencil and a sheet of paper. Put the paper on top of the textured object and rub your crayon over the paper. It should leave a nice pattern on the paper! Have a go!

Don't forget to keep sending in photos and updates to the school admin email address showing how you are getting on.

Watch the video below to unwind and relax after a busy and active day.
It's by Cosmic Kids Yoga and it shows 5 different mindfulness exercises.

Have a brilliant day and a safe weekend everyone.
