Chinese Paper Drums
Have a go at making these Chinese Paper drums in preparation for Chinese New Year! The instructions are linked below.
If you don't have beads at home for the drum, I have included a tutorial video showing you how to make your own paper beads.

Good morning everyone. It has been very wintry so far this week with lots of snow and sub-zero temperatures! Wrap up warm and try to get outside to have some fun in the snow if you can!
It's Wednesday which means it will be PE and Music this afternoon!

Cleversticks:
Our Key Story this week is Cleversticks. Listen to the story below and then complete the 'chopstick challenge'. This will be a great way for your child to challenge themselves and develop their fine-motor skills.

Chinese New Year:

It's almost Chinese New Year! This new year will be the year of the Ox!
Click on the picture above to find out about the 12 animals that make up the Chinese Zodiac.

Have a go at decorating and making a Chinese Lantern - There is a template linked below. Chinese Lanterns are often coloured red and gold, but you can use any colours or decorations that you wish. You will need an adult to help you assemble the lantern once decorated. Have fun!
