This week we have learnt a poem about 10 Things found in a Wizard's Pocket.
Today I would like you to write your own poem based on a similar theme.
What things would you put in a wizard's pocket?
Year 1
The first part of your task is to draw five things that you would put in a wizard's pocket. They have to be different from the poem you have read this week.
Be creative with your pictures. It's all about the magic today!
So for example you might want to choose a different type of animal.
Or you might want to think about the weather at the moment - a snow storm.
Once you have drawn your pictures, I would like you to write your sentences.
Remember to make them interesting and fun to read!
Tomorrow we will be writing up our poems neatly, rehearsing them and performing them to someone in your household.
