This term I would like you all to work hard on your handwriting. Any piece of work you record should be in your best handwriting. Year 2 children try to use a joined up handwriting style as often as you can.

Friday 18th December 

It's been a brilliant week in Class 2.

On Wednesday we enjoyed our Polar Express Day. The children enjoyed their hot chocolate with marshmallows and a delicious cookie.

 

 

 

On Thursday it was Christmas jumper day! The children all looked wonderful.

Christmas dinner was amazing and we were even lucky enough to have Mrs Skirving's children playing Christmas songs for us. 

 

 

So the very last thing to say this term is " Merry Christmas Everyone"

Monday 19th October

Well haven't we had a busy term! The children in Class 2 have really impressed me with their enthusiasm and their joy of learning over the previous two months. 

Last week the children were introduced to an online reading programme called 'Bug Club'. Passwords have been sent home so that the children can continue their reading as often as they want. There are many rewards that the children can gain once they have completed the questions from each book. Once they are ready for more reading material, I will allocate another set of books for them.

The children have been incredibly excited about this new online reading opportunity.
